An open window, a missing door, or exposed roofing after a fire is an invitation for weather damage, theft, and liability, all before the sun goes down. Fire Damage Laser Cleaning's Board Up Services crews respond fast specifically to close that window.
We board windows and doors with weather-rated plywood, tarp compromised roofing sections, and where needed set up temporary fencing to keep the property secure until repairs begin from further exposure.

A dispatcher answers +1-866-484-1409 around the clock, because fires don't wait for business hours.
We use construction-grade plywood and proper fasteners, not scrap material, so the board-up survives wind and rain.
Board-up materials and crews are staged locally in Afton rather than dispatched from a distant regional office.
There's no after-hours premium tacked onto Board Up Services emergency dispatch.
A detail Afton homeowners don't always think about is that a poorly secured board-up can actually violate local code or void certain insurance provisions if it's not installed to a minimum standard — plywood alone, loosely nailed, often doesn't meet that bar.
Meeting local code on temporary securing isn't just about doing a thorough job — in many Afton, MN areas, it's actually required.
More than once we've arrived to reinforce a board-up job that looked fine but wasn't actually fastened to withstand real wind load — which is the exact scenario proper materials and fastening are meant to prevent.
Most Afton board-up jobs are completed start to finish in under two hours, even for a multi-window loss, which is fast enough to beat an incoming storm in most cases.
Every open window and door gets boarded with material sized and secured to actually hold, not just cover the gap.
We tarp exposed roofing immediately to stop water intrusion into the attic and living space below.
For larger losses, we install temporary fencing to control site access and reduce liability exposure.
An exposed fire-damaged property is a target; our board-up specifically closes off easy entry points.
We flag any opening that looks like it's tied to a bigger structural issue rather than just boarding over it.
Calling +1-866-484-1409 connects you to a live coordinator who dispatches a board-up crew immediately, any hour.
Materials come pre-loaded on the response vehicle so there's no delay picking up supplies en route.
The crew lead evaluates every opening and gives you a same-visit price before any boarding begins.
We don't consider the job done until the structure is genuinely weathertight and access-controlled.
